E-Learning Day 8/24/2023

We will be implementing an e-Learning day for Thursday, August 24, 2023 due to some unexpected Air Conditioning Units failing. Students will remain home tomorrow and either work remotely, or work on the assignments that were sent home with them today, or in the alternative, make up the work at a later date. Stay cool and we look forward to seeing you on Friday.

Principal's Message

Dear Costello Families,

I hope this message finds you and your loved ones in good health and high spirits as we approach the start of a new school year. My name is Chris Jamrose, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Costello Elementary School! I am thrilled to join this vibrant community and to partner with you in providing the best possible education and experiences for our students.

The elementary years are a crucial time in a child's life, and I am committed to fostering a positive and enriching environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. With a passionate and dedicated team of educators, staff, and parents like you, I am confident that we can create a nurturing and inclusive learning community.

As a parent myself, I understand the importance of a strong school-family partnership. Your involvement, encouragement, and support are vital components of your child's educational journey. Together, we can lay the foundation for academic achievement, character development, and social-emotional growth.

At Costello, we take pride in offering a well-rounded curriculum that not only focuses on academic excellence but also promotes creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and social-emotional development. Our dedicated teachers are committed to fostering a love of learning in your children and encouraging their curiosity and exploration.

Throughout the school year, we will provide various opportunities for family engagement, including parent-teacher conferences, family events, workshops, and more. Your active participation in these activities will greatly enrich your child's learning experience and strengthen the sense of community within our school.

Communication is key to a successful partnership, and I assure you that we will maintain open lines of dialogue. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me or any member of our school staff if you have questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share. We value your input and are eager to work together to ensure a positive and supportive educational journey for your child.

I am truly excited to embark on this journey with you and your children. Let us embrace this opportunity for growth, learning, and making lasting memories together. Together, we will nurture a community of lifelong learners, compassionate individuals, and responsible citizens.

Thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children. I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you and building strong connections with our incredible Costello family.

Warmest regards,

Chris Jamrose
